Greetings, dear listeners and friends,

Is this a Newsletter a bit special. I am writing to you to comment on two things:

-A new album is nearing completion in the study.
-I'm thinking a new digital distribution model.


A new album is nearing completion in the study:

In fact, I started a new project on August, based on new sounds and sequences programmed into my synthesizers, samplers and diverse gear. It is a new venture a little more experimental and dark than my previous work “Ars Lucis”. Well, a lot experimental and dark than “Ars Lucis” !! Think of some songs from "The Talisman", like "The Endless Knot" "Cellular Memory", etc etc.
Some details still to be done in sequences, and all the mastering stage.
I do not know exactly what their final name, delivery date or format. I will tell you in the comming weeks. In addition to this new work, are nearly facing two other projects who I hope to complete in the coming months, also in the final stage.

I'm thinking a new digital distribution model:

In ad21music're thinking about making the final leap to digital format. I know some of you have communicated your dissatisfaction with that situation. First of all I must tell you, if finally we decided to adopt the digital downloads as definitive format, high resolution files will be our main premise, and, this would be the following: A zip or rar file with entire album in high resolution (FLAC) and a PDF with all the graphics, comments, etc. The mp3 files, for those who prefer it, would be on sale as usual in the other digital stores: iTunes, napster, amazon, cdbaby, etc etc. I sincerely believe that in the end, the listener, fan or buyer definitely wins. FLAC files are truly a real alternative and that is being established as the standard lossless format. For those who do not trust digital downloads regarding their quality, FLAC files are exactly the same quality as a CD, bit by bit. For more info about FLAC click here
